Do the blinds come with a Warranty?
Yes, a 3 year warranty comes as standard on parts & workmanship. We do not cover against misuse, Incorrect installation,
or normal wear and tear.
How accurate are the fabric colours on my monitor?
Computer monitors do not display colours accurately. Please indicate the colour you like & we can post you free samples
before you place your order.
Do I take anything off my measurements to allow for the brackets?
No. Please give us the exact measurements of the window as indicated on our “how to measure” page.
We will make the adjustment for the brackets ourselves.
What is the maximum size blind I can have?
We do not recommend excessively sized blinds as this can result in problems with the weight causing the fabric to pucker.
Also there is a more limited selection of fabrics available in wider widths. Blinds up to 2400mm wide are no problem,
although sometimes we make blinds up to 3000mm. For larger windows we sometimes recommend that two or three blinds
are used depending on the type of the window.
Can I have my blinds linked together?
Yes. Adjacent blinds can be joined at the top for easier operation. We use a slim line bracket to minimise the gap.
The window configuration needs to be suitable. You will need to discuss this with us.
Can I have blinds which offer both sunscreen & blockout on the one bracket?
Yes. We can make you a “Double blind”, where there are two blinds on a special bracket.
The blind closest to the window is usually Sunscreen & the front blind is usually Blockout & is front rolled.
They can go up & down separately. You will need sufficient clearance from all obstructions within your window recess to fit the brackets.
Can I order Motorised Blinds?
Yes. We can make blinds which are operated by a remote control device. Please contact us for more information.
Can we have a 'front roll' on our blind?
Yes. You can choose whether you would like the blind to roll from the front or the back.
Front roll is required when space needs to be allowed for items such as handles.
For aluminium windows we recommend back rolled unless handles are a problem.
How do I clean my blinds?
Wipe gently with a damp sponge using a little mild soap.
How long does it take to manufacture the blinds?
Generally your roller blinds will be manufactured within 5-10 working days from order confirmation. Venetian blinds
14 days & Roman Blinds 2-3 weeks from order confirmation. If we discover that there may be a delay with delivering in this time frame Easy Blinds will
send an e-mail advising you of the delay and the reasons for it.
How do I install my blind?
All screws and brackets are supplied with the blind.
We send instructions with the blind. Installation instructions are also on our website.
Can I have the blinds measured and/or fitted?
We supply measuring & fitting services throughout the Auckland area, We are also able to offer that service in Hamilton, Palmerston North, Wellington & Christchurch.
We can provide a measure only service & you can fit them yourself OR we can measure & fit. We do not fit blinds you have measured. If you want us to measure, please give us the best measurement you can manage, for quotation purposes & we will confirm the exact measurement when we visit. We charge extra for these services & it is best to discuss this with us at the time of quotation. If you are not sure, you can email us.
What is the procedure for ordering my blinds?
Measure your windows using our measurement guide, & select your preferred fabric.
Send us your details through our quote box & we will email your quote back.
Let us know if you would like a colour sample & we will post it to you.
After confirming you are happy with the fabric & trim details, & your payment is deposited in our bank, we will begin
manufacture of your blinds.
Once the blinds are complete we will email or phone you. They will be dispatched by courier with fitting instructions
included, or you can call & collect them from our St Lukes workshop.
What if I have measured my windows incorrectly?
All our blinds are custom made to your requirements so we can not be held responsible for any errors in your measurements. However we will do our best to help. We want your blinds to look their best!
We can reduce the width of your blind for a charge of $45. It is not possible to make the blind wider. If you have any problems
please email us for advice.
After I order my blinds can I make any changes?
You must call us as soon as possible, preferably in the first 24 hours. We cannot guarantee any changes after this time
because your blinds may have started production.
Payment
Payment is by direct credit into our bank account. We will email you with our account number when you place your order.
Payment is considered as confirmation of order.
We accept Visa or Mastercard, but we request that you add 4% to the total for Credit cards. That covers the charges we receive as we do not want to pass those costs on to non card users.
Do you accept other Payment Arrangements.
Only on rare occassions. Alternative methods of payment need to be arranged with us. Should any payment default occur, all collection costs will be passed on.
How much is the Freight?
Freight is dependant on location and the total weight of the blinds ordered.
Charges start at $10 for Auckland, $15 for the North Island, $20 for the South Island.
Blinds over 2.4m & Rural deliveries incur additional charges.
We will advise you when you request your quote.
What happens if my blinds are damaged in transit?
If your blind is visibly damaged upon delivery, please refuse delivery and your blinds will be returned to Easy Blinds.
We will immediately repair or replace your blinds and send them back to you. You must inspect your delivery and report
any damage to Easy Blinds within 5 days of receipt. After this time Easy Blinds cannot be held responsible
for the damaged item or the replacement cost.
Blinds are very easy to measure and fit and every order is shipped with all the hardware and instructions you need. Often they can be fitted in a few minutes each and of course we are here to help should you need it.
